“Miniatures” by Yuval Adler aroused murmur due to its extreme brevity: four beautiful but very short songs for soprano accompanied by vibraphone. A precise expression, a sensitive composition, an attractive atmosphere achieved with limited means – Adler’s impressive achievement cries out for further and deeper investigation of the format he created, which stands on its own, even without the accompanying video-art. Nofar Yacobi and Nadav Ovadia are also praised for their meticulous performance.
